This band of young musicians are one of the finest groups of its type in the South of England.  Each year the band works through a heavy schedule of concert performances, charitable events, festivals and fund raising activities.

Commitment from members is 100% and are very proud of the young ambassadors who have a fine record of achievement throughout the United Kingdom and Europe and Canada.  In July 2004 the Band enjoyed a highly successful tour of China. 

The music ranges from the classics to pop and there is something for everyone to enjoy.  All of the young players have been taught to play in schools and colleges in and around the City of Southampton, and they represent the high peak of a pyramid of almost 200 players who are part of the Southampton Youth Brass Bands.
